Münsingen (Highest Alemannic: Münsige) is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipality of Trimstein merged into Münsingen, and on 1 January 2017 the former municipality of Tägertschi also merged.
A focal point of the permanent exhibition at Münsingen Castle are the exhibits from the possessions of the Bernese patrician family von Steiger, who owned the castle and the lordship of Münsingen for almost three centuries. Valuable documents from the family chest and representative portraits bear witness to the life and work of the former lords.
