May 1, 2012 · The way I see it the whole purchase order thing should work a little like this:-. PO is raised for goods and services - No impact on accounting records. Goods and received and in good order etc etc - DR to P&L expense, CR to accruals in the balance sheet. Invoice comes in from supplier - DR the accrual above, CR Supplier/Purchase ledger.

I think your chances of winning the appeal are low, CGT returns have been required to an earlier deadline for many years now (it was 30 days before being relaxed to 60 in 2021). The amount you have been charged will be made up of the penalty for missing the deadline, plus interest on the unpaid tax.
Aug 8, 2022 · By Refs1. 10th Aug 2022 21:56. Given HMRC efficiency and quality, prompt replies (sarcasm), to letters, I now appeal everything that gets a penalty for that seems unreasonable. 30 days was never enough to do a CGT return, 60 days is fairer. Plenty of CGT penalties cancelled.

"There’s no Inheritance Tax on a wedding or civil partnership gift worth up to: £5,000 given to a child£2,500 given to a grandchild or great-grandchild£1,000 given to anyone else.
