So the plan now includes a hunt in UT for my sons elk then onto CO for my buddies elk hunt. We are both bring our kids and have worked an on line school schedule that will allow then to hunt for 13 days and only miss 3 days of school.

Mar 17, 2017 · Enjoy your hunt and pray for snow. There are elk that live in the unit year round, but this permit is built for the elk migration. They do shoot some nice elk occasionally, but it’s definitely not easy. Enjoy the hunt and hopefully you can turn up a nice bull! Apr 16, 2020.

Grizzlies just want to mess you up til you're not a threat usually, black bear if they attack are going for the kill, or at least to incapacitate you enough they can begin the feast.
