Mar 24, 2024 · RIP Raffles City McDonalds. The landlord must have increased the rent to the point where selling Fillet O Fish meals at $5.50 was no longer tenable for the franchisee. McDonald’s was probably their best tenant as it attracted a lot of people to the entrance of the mall, and many would then wander in and spend a bit more as a result.
Jan 18, 2022 · Reporting time is 8.15 for Y5/J1 and 8.05 for Y6/J2. RI has little to no dress code 💀 you can come in with all sorts of coloured socks and shoes, hair accessories. Most teachers don't care for multiple ear piercings or bleached/permed hair either. It's probably possible but it's definitely a lot better to have a leadership role.
Apr 1, 2020 · Right above Raffles Place mrt is unfortunately the most prime of prime, probably just second to MBFC/ASQ. You can consider Raffles City and you take a train down which is one stop. Fullerton hotel or one Raffles Place. Wouldn’t say it’s cheap ($400ish? Per month) but available to non tenants.

Dec 10, 2020 · Would definitely recommend Raffles. I've bought many parts from him and for the price you cannot get quality rep parts from elsewhere. Even a modern 6 digit sub build with all parts from him will be the same quality but cheaper than some mid-range factory pieces.
The people who tended to complain about Raffles being stressful were those not from RI but joined in RJC, after being top of their respective cohorts in sec sch and treated like a god previously. Different types of hobbies and interests for sure. Someone like Amos Yee would actually have fit in quite well at Raffles.

Also, not sure if related, but I've had bad experiences with procuring documents from Raffles Hospital itself. Raffles Hospital/Medical Centre has been deteriorating in service. Almost a decade ago they were great.
