Nov 20, 2022 · That said, Skam France is very dramatic in general. Don't expect to get the realistic feeling you did from Norway. The French version throws realism out the window to highlight drama and aesthetics. Season 4 dips in quality. By season 5 (the first original), the French version becomes a full blown Mexican soap opera.

Skam OG was AMAZING, and I was looking forward to start the France one because I speak French and thought that since the remake is relatively new then it must be better, but it turned out to be completely underwhelming. It feels incomplete, rushed, short, and the characters are not developed well at all and they lack depth.

Mar 6, 2020 · But when Skam France was copying Skam og, people didn’t like it. A remake doesn’t have to use all the techniques of the original, or else what would be the point of a remake? Skam France is the way it is because it employs the techniques of French tv/cinema in the way each remake is supposed to reflect the culture of the country it’s made in.

If you watched the original Skam, then you're not gonna have any problem understanding the characters and the storylines.
