The reason that most scrapers are rarely rounded or curved in Tokyo is that land is so precious that developers build to the very corners of the sites. I notice a lot of the newer developments more and more than before, are including plaza with gardens.

Dec 8, 2005 · The Tokyo Tower sure is one nice structure, but my vote still goes to the Eiffelt Tower. It is too iconic and simply massive. Considering it's been built in the 1880s, it is a stunning technological marvel; something that will always attract people from around the world.

Dec 13, 2007 · Btw, it's not just Tokyo, but these kind of projects won't work anywhere. It's just to massive without giving people extra advantages over normal houses and normal office towers. It's like Le Corbusier all over again, it looks fantastic on the drawing boards but in reality it only works when it's done on a small scale.
