Is it correct to use " roll " and " twirl " with "tongue" ? Yes, if they fit the context. For example, you can use "write" with "pen" but you can't say "Write the pen up", can you?

Sep 30, 2013 · Twirl is more commonly used to mean to turn about one point; to spin on an axis: "The ballerina twirled on one toe.", Swirl is more commonly used to mean to create circular and eddying currents in air or liquid.
Jul 21, 2011 · Twirl here makes me think of someone dancing and twirling their partner, making them turn in circles. I think it means the woman feels the other woman is playing with her son, not in any sexual way, but making him lose sight of what's important, i.e. his school.
