Xinzhuang District (Chinese: 新莊區; Hanyu Pinyin: Xīnzhuāng Qū; Tongyong Pinyin: Sinjhuang Cyu) is a district in the western part of New Taipei in northern Taiwan. It has an area of 19.74 km 2 (7.62 sq mi) and a population of 421,248 people (February 2023).
Xinzhuang Temple Street is lined with ancient temples, and old shops; it also offers snacks and traditional Taiwanese delicacies. Visitors can go to Taishan Public Market for some dumplings or visit Taishan Doll Museum.

Jun 6, 2022 · Great for exercise and leisure. I have been coming to Taiwan for several years, and have recently been staying in the Xinzhuang district, the hotels and restaurants are cheaper than central Taipei, and the quality is very good.
