Opinions will always differ, this amp, those speakers, hell, not with wooden flooring, etc, etc,. Denon make great Amps and Dali make great speakers, so, why not.
Feb 27, 2020 · Dali speakers though properly matched are great speakers. But the Dali house sound is kinda neutral, but midrange is more forward, treble is more open, and the bass is not as round as other brands. By forward midrange I mean the vocals are lot more upfront then B&W speakers. This also true when you move up Dali ladder.

Nov 17, 2021 · Jun 13, 2023. #8. Dali tends to write this because they sound better of axis (no toe in). In real world I suggest you try and see what you prefer. I used no toe in before with Dali speakers. My memory is they sound better like Dali voices them to be. I use toe in with every speaker. Better sound then.
May 30, 2018 · For contrast, here are the previous Dali IKON, which are now replaced by the Opticon, one line above the Zensor. If you have decent speakers, you should be able to hear a difference in the highest Treble because of the Super-Tweeter in the Ikon. As far as the potential for the speakers to sound muddy, that is going to be down to placement.

So, my room it's a 4×5 m and i have a pair of Dali Zensor 3. Since i'm already sold to Dali sound, next upgrade will be Opticon 2 mkII or Rubicon 2 ( i went to an audition and love both).

Also, the Oberon are likely to be a noticeably better speaker. They have the new magnet compound for the bass Driver, so entirely different from the much more budget Spector, and they replaced the Zensor ...

Klipsch RP-8000F Speakers (Pair) The RP-8000 have TWO 8" Bass drivers rated at 98dB Sensitivity so they don't really require a lot of power to kick out some serious sound. The Dali Oberon 7 have TWO 7" Bass drivers with a rated Sensitivity of 88.5 db, which is more typical.
Dec 29, 2007 · My Dali Oberon speakers have a label that states: Designed and Engineered in Denmark, Manufactured in PRC. There are videos online of manufacturing in Denmark, from memory that was Opticon or higher range. I think to meet a lower price point and to supply the required quantity, almost all brands outsource manufacturing to China, Vietnam etc.
