Here's one way to do it adding to new fields \github and \linkedin; the information will be automatically added to the footer, with hyperlinks and some logos (for the logos I used the images obtained with the code at the end of this answer):

Dec 14, 2018 · Trying to load the logo can be problematic for some reason. Instead of file one can also use the fontawesome logos used for other socials logos. To do so add \usepackage{fontawesome} to the beginning of the preamble and change the relevant symbol line with: \newcommand*{\googlescholarsocialsymbol}{{\small\faGraduationCap}~}
When you take a look at the template_banking_red.pdf from this host it features different symbols for mobile/phone/mail and also additional github/linkedin/twitter symbols. I just updated my texlive yet i still obtain the old symbols.
