NSYNC is a pop group formed by Chris Kirkpatrick in 1995 and launched in Germany by BMG Ariola Munich. The group consists of Kirkpatrick, Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and JC Chasez, and has sold over 70 million records worldwide.
- Justin Timberlake. After *NSYNC’s hiatus began, Justin Timberlak e embarked on a successful solo career that began with his 2002 album, Justified. Since then he’s won 10 Grammys, seven American Music Awards and 11 MTV Video Music Awards.
- JC Chasez. JC Chasez is the only other member of *NSYNC besides Timberlake to attempt a solo career. He released his first studio album, Schizophrenic, in 2004.
- Lance Bass. After *NSYNC’s hiatus, Lance Bass tried his hand at acting, starring in the rom-coms On the Line and Love Wrecked and the TV show Insatiable.
- Joey Fatone. After *NSYNC’s demise, Joey Fatone pursued an acting career, starring in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and The Cooler. In 2016, he starred in the TV film Dead 7 alongside fellow *NSYNC alum Chris Kirkpatrick and other boybanders including the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter and 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons.
