Jun 3, 2023 · Hi, I’m trying to download WoW on a new pc but the download speed is extremely slow. I tried everything that was suggested by blizzard support, as well as reinstalling battlenet, and disabling my antivirus and firewall, but nothing seems to work. I have the bandwidth box unchecked too. Any help would be appreciated.

Patches aren’t too bad on my 18Mbps DSL, but it takes several hours to download the whole game. Yeah about 20 on a decent internet speed. I have had a friend to whom it took a day and a bit, though he used an older slowe connection. All the boomers about to tell you about the 4 disc special all day download in 2007.

May 9, 2019 · Thanks for the info! The download itself is about 32 GB, give or take. They download will be current with all patches as of the time you download it. Update: downloading now and it’s 57GB moving pretty quick. Hellooo, I’m not really new to WoW, I use to play 7ish years ago, but am excited to get back in.

If it’s still getting stuck, go ahead and post your DXDIAG so we can see if anything stands out there. Press Windows Key + R. In the Run window type dxdiag and press Enter. Nov 30, 2023 · It is part of hardcore/era. If you have that installed you are good. If you don’t then download hardcore. Its going to be on the classic wow client. Download classic. Go to realm select. Then at the bottom there is 3 tabs. Seasonal, Era, Hardcore. SoD will be on Seasonal.
