Our student accommodation is housed across two main locations: City and Ranmoor/Endcliffe. The Ranmoor Student Village and Endcliffe Student village are in close proximity to each other, and around a 15 minute walk from campus. The majority of our City accommodation is on the edge of campus, within 5 minutes or less of university buildings.
The Ranmoor/Endcliffe accommodation is furthest away from the centre, out to the West, but it's only about a 30 minute walk to the Student's Union from Ranmoor or 20 from Endcliffe. Then once you get to the SU, you're within 10 minutes of most of the university buildings including all the libraries.

Cons: •. The hills-this can be a shock to the system at first if you're not used to it, but it quickly just becomes something you don't think about. Overall, I have a very positive view of Sheffield. May 10, 2024 · True. Thanks for adding this. For University of Sheffield specifically, this doesn't look like it would be an issue. They say here (still with last year's date) that, "If you accept an offer through Confirmation and Clearing by 31 August 2023, we'll guarantee you accommodation in University accommodation.
Samw1se. There are PBL parts to the course, as there will be at pretty much every Medical School in the country. Designed around common and important clinical conditions, this course is based on a patient-centred approach. It uses integrated learning and teaching that relates clinical medicine to the underlying medical sciences.
