Just went to check out adtershock's laptops, and they are ALOT cheaper than other brand's equivalent laptops. For example their laptop with Intel Core i7 13700H Processor + Geforce RTX 4060 cost only 1.8k.

  2. Aug 16, 2022 · Just got my custom PC from Aftershock delivered. Took a few weeks, but delivery was only one day. Got a Ryzen 5 7500F, RTX 4070 Windforce OC, 2x1tb NVME drives, NZXT H510 case, Kingston fury 8x2 ddr5 memory (which i swapped for 4X16 Corsair Vengeance) and an MSI Aorus B650.

  3. Nov 15, 2023 · My last two PC were from aftershock, both GPU broke down a bit over 3 years. And the GPU is usually the most expensive component within the PC. It is best you buy from big brands like Dell, Lenovo, HP that can offer more than 3 years of warranty. Unless you are certain, you are willing to buy a new PC after 3 years.

  4. Apr 19, 2020 · regarding aftershock, it is a more expensive option than building your own from sim lim square, and if you purchase all the parts from the same store they may be willing to just build the whole thing for you. personally recommend pcthemes (a store in sim lim square). Installation may be free or may charge you.

  5. May 13, 2021 · Anw for aftershock, my recommendation is if you student/retiree, basically not working/having a full time job, then go for it. From my experience their staff not properly trained. Their work sop not refined enough yet. But it's still cheaper than market and their "management" still cares. So aftersale support still alright.

  6. Nov 26, 2023 · On the website it says delivery time for custom pcs are 7-10 days but on my receipt it says 15-20, im not sure which to follow but i dont think it should take that long as aftershock is not that far away and wouldnt be that busy to take 10+ days as it is not a hugely popular company. I ordered mine on the 8/11 and it only just got shipped on ...

  7. I compared aftershock's price and parts, and eventually decided to build my own. Its cool, I gained PC knowledge as well. Most importantly, not only I saved a few hundred dollars, my self-built spec was a lot better than Aftershock (If want to achieve lower price point you have to go with all the random brands or their OEM coolers etc)

  8. May 8, 2021 · Aftershock has been pricing their products way out of competition, with that kind of thin margin I don't believe it's possible to provide premium service. It's a double edge sword. Unlike brands like Apple or Razer, they do 1 -1 exchange and throw the faulty product away still can make profit.

  9. Jun 18, 2021 · Jun 18, 2021. #7. My last pc is from aftershock. Their price is good for the specifications u r paying. And their setup is also very good since they can caters to the latest GPU and CPU. But the problem is the after sales when things break down. U must be prepared to wait for a few weeks to get it fix from the time ur pc breaks down.

  10. Sep 1, 2024 · aftershock also cuts warranty down as shadow84 mentioned. ssd still has a reasonable chance to fail, and good drives generally offer 5y warranty, which u dont get with aftershock. even if u get a good psu with aftershock, u still only get 3y vs the proper 5-10y. and while idk if this is due to aftershock having a large customer base, there are ...
