Feb 10, 2023 · Actors have the worst taste and need to stop falling for blatant biopic bait. Scenes from a Marriage was for TV so she couldn't get an Oscar for that. Clearly, but she was blanked almost entirely for SFAM. Didn’t get nominated most of the time, including at SAG where the sweep for Tammy Faye started.
Apr 17, 2010 · IMHO: Cherry Jones deserves more film work than Glenn. But no one deserves a quality role in a film more than Patty Duke. With that being said... Glenn can still bring it no differently than Jessica Lange. Why does Meryl get every single last film role for ladies past 45 or so anyway? I respect Meryl, but am almost tired of her at this point.
Sep 9, 2024 · 20 years ago this month, Jones was to star opposite actress Diahann Carroll at the Kennedy Center in a stage revival of 'On Golden Pond' for a limited engagement. It was announced earlier that summer, in July. There was talk it could eventually move to Broadway in the 2005-06 season, if it went as well as the producers planned.
