  5. May 28, 2024 · Claremore, city, seat (1907) of Rogers county, northeastern Oklahoma, U.S., northeast of Tulsa. In 1880 John Bullette, a Delaware Indian, settled on the site, which he called Claremore for an Osage chief whose tribe once lived there.

  6. The county seat of Rogers County, Claremore covers a land area of approximately twelve square miles at an elevation of 602 feet. It is located at the intersection of historic Route 66 (State Highway 66) and State Highways 20 and 88, twenty-nine miles northeast of Tulsa.
