Jan 10, 2023 · Tennis spin noticed the difference since Harry compared his actual match used 97 vs the retail version. regardless of whether this is true - not disputing, just haven’t heard this before - Paul was obviously using a blade mold, not the H22. And different blade molds have different thicknesses, fwiw.

For whatever might be said, Tommy has put himself in a unique position to be an emeritus dark horse, with little fanfare and attention, keeping all the distractions at bay that many fall prey to. You don't see his face cuz he has his head down doing work, winning, making deep runs, and making bank without fuss.

His take back to the point of hitting is loopy, yet typical Next-Gen forehand usually point the racket head to the opponent, but he did not. And is his forehand semi-western ?

In the the pics posted here, of Paul and Nishioka, you can clearly see: the T-shaped profile ( aka "area 1" in the Yonex illustration below) from the 2023 VCore 98 in the middle of the throat - in both frames. the H-shaped profile in the bottom of the throat (aka "area 2") - in Paul's frame.

Sep 3, 2024 · Francis, despite some of his on court behavior and some of the bone head comments, he is very likable. Always laughing, and joking. Also agree 100% with Eubanks, a class act. His on court celebrations can be too much and his form is ugly. And those hideous outfits.

Update: during Tommy's AO semi vs Djoker, Daren Cahill just stated that TP has yet to formally sign with Yonex but carries the stencil "out of respect" for the company.
