Whatever else Bay's films may or may not be, they look and sound tremendous, and this is certainly no exception, enjoying resounding clarity and razor-sharp focus; promoting superior detailing on sweaty, stressed military visages, weaponry and battle-damaged urban environments.
Dec 3, 2006 · The average amount of hours for a normal CRT was about 20,000 to 30,000. hours a few years ago. Low quality modern CRTs may go less than 3,000 hours. before going down. I guess the CRT is beginning to be tired in that TV. It may last some more. time readjusting the focus and colour balance to get the best out of it.

The first two sets are the shorter compensation cycles - started and completed. The last two sets are the longer compensation cycles - started and completed.

GMAN40, in a private message to me about how to access the hours on my Pioneer LX5090, told me: "To access the service menu I bought a dedicated remote GGF1589 due to the amount of screens I have. You can access the service menu via other routes,but for me this was the best solution.

I may think about reseting the lamp timer again when it gets to 640 hours which means 1000 reset hours, so I could add it onto the lamps actually time easier.
Oct 29, 2020 · Oh yeah, something I forgot to mention - average brightness. Most of the TV's life has been spent displaying SDR content, and white was at about 300 nits. The TV was viewed during the day and with the lights on. Now it's in a darker room. So the first 20k hours: 300 nits. The last 10k hours: 175 nits.
