Oct 26, 2020 · I've heard that there are many sites that are mirror sites of 9anime. They baically use 9anime's platform to bait users into getting malware. Is there a list of sites which are legit because I've been using 9anime.to and it seems safe. If anyone knows please tell me or link it that would be helpful.

May 24, 2021 · 9anime once used a script to essentially turn people's browsers into DDoS bots. While it was turned off fairly quickly, it should be noted that they now have a history of pulling stuff like this, and therefore, it is best practice to be using uBlock Origin and NoScript while using that site even though it is safe now because they have tainted their reputation.
Aug 6, 2022 · It's not illegal to link to copyrighted stuff, and that's exactly what 9Anime does. The site itself is technically a directory that tells you where the episodes are, it doesn't actually contain any copyrighted media. All the copyrighted media is saved on hosting servers located in places that US law has no jurisdiction.
After fixing most Bugs and Issues, 9anime will finally publish their new Update. Please test out the new features like watch2gether and more and let us know what you think about them. If you still find some minor bugs or suggestions you think would be beneficial, please comment them under this post.

Whether it's a clunky UI (most noticeable with anime DAO), poor AV quality (most noticeable with animepahe), limited selection (most noticable with Yugen), broken mirrors broken features, ads (most noticeable with Kickassanime) and so on there are only three anime pirate sites out there worth anyone's time ...
