ASIFA-Hollywood is a non-profit organization that supports and celebrates the art and industry of animation. It hosts the Annie Awards, preserves and archives animation, offers education and events, and has a network of animation enthusiasts.
The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, is one of the longest-operating chapter of ASIFA (Association Internationale du Film d’Animation), an organization that was created in Annecy, France in 1957, and chartered under UNESCO as an advocacy and education organization in 1960.
