Apr 19, 2018 · Before Rosberg won his WDC, he was also oft-compared to Coulthard. A phenomenal driver who just has the bad luck of a legendary teammate in a field with insane talent. Coulthard is forever a legend to me though, one of the best to never win the big one.
Jun 21, 2012 · There was a joke in the mid 2000s that one of the things to look forward to in the pre-season was Coulthard's announcement that "this was going to be his year". But I like him. He was always a fair driver, never dirty, and had some great moments. He isnt that bad, but gave the worldchampions a hard time.

Checking the stats, Coulthard crashed out 31 times in his 246 starts, whereas Barrichello crashed out 29 times in his 322 starts. since you commented on my quote.. no, you are wrong. as written, my point was the communication offside the track, and not any crash related stuff which belongs to events on the track.
