Yeah Norris actually said he was planning to fight it out around the outside of the corner but had to back out because George was there. It would have been a 3 into 2 accident and depending on which way Lando went he would have either taken out himself and George or if he turned tighter into Max maybe even took out all 3 of them.

[question about if he’s worried that he’ll go the way of previous McLaren rookies Stoffel and KMag] “No, because I’m better.”.
Except Alonso, he'll still be on the grid for the new rules. Nah, talents like Charles, George, Lando and Stroll (/s) will still be around then. They’re not going anywhere unless they want to. until 2026-7 when rules change. At that point a lot of the grid will probably be tossed out for the next big thing.
