Sep 28, 2023 · And, of course none of those steps resolved the issue. Why, because it's on the Microsoft end that's causing it. Since the latest updates to both the Edge and Bing homepages about a week ago, the issues began. I contacted Microsoft Support and got a reply that they are aware of the issues and are currently trying to correct them.
Only workaround for now is uninstalling the app via settings > apps > installed apps by searching for 'Bing' and then reinstalling from the Microsoft store searching for 'web search'.
