If you would prefer not to receive notifications for messages and/or calls on your Apple Watch, then follow these steps to configure your settings accordingly: On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Phone. Choose Custom. Under Alerts, turn off Show Alerts. Under Ringtone, turn off Sound and Haptic.

Feb 26, 2019 · If the watch is on silent (which is can be if the phone has been switched to silent duering the day, the watch stay on silent) you don't get anything. On your phone, go to the Watch app. Go to General>Do Not Disturb>Mirror iPhone and turn it off. That way, your watch will not get switched to silent when your phone is. Also, go to Sounds & Haptics.
Nov 29, 2019 · The phrase is more idiomatic if the verb at the end is negative. So "Not on my watch, he won't". Likewise "Not on my bed, you won't". The sentence would also work with "don't" instead of "won't", as if the speaker is referring to what the cat is actually doing rather than reacting to the cat showing now that it plans to do something in the future.

Feb 24, 2022 · The watch seems to override. The screen on my phone doesn't even wake when getting a notification. Hopefully I'm just missing a configuration option somewhere. I like notifications on the watch, but I still want my phone act exactly as it would if the watch were not getting notifications.

Oct 21, 2021 · Meaning that when we use "Find my" app, it shows our watch location and not our iPhone location. If I turn off the "Share my location" on my watch it automatically turns it off for my iPhone too. This is frustrating and the two devices should be separate. If i turn my watch off, then the "Find My" app show my correct iPhone location.

Oct 2, 2022 · Want watch to ring but phone silent with calls I recently upgraded to an an Apple Watch 7 and am using it with the same iPhone XR I’ve had for a while. With my old watch, I had it set up that anytime my phone would receive a call, even though it WASNT on silent, it wouldn’t ring if I was wearing my watch - only my watch would vibrate.

May 5, 2022 · To get my watch to actually work to wake me up in the morning with haptic feedback I have to set the alarm On the watch because if I said it on the phone my watch does not get the message. I have tried turning both the phone and the watch off and nothing seems to work.

May 20, 2021 · Steps when not wearing Watch, but having iPhone on me. I just purchase d a new series 6 watch , and can't wear it at work, where i walk around 15k steps a day. I was trying to find a way to automatically have my steps from my phone be added to my watch's step count/activity.
