Hi all, My 2009 started tripping a P0420 code yesterday and the manual says it's described as a "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshhold (Bank 1)" issue. I heard that it was either a bad oxygen sensor or a catalytic convertor that needed replacing.
Jan 23, 2020 · C1122 is an engiine speed signal failure, speed over 50 kph and engine revs under 220. Time to get it diagnosed, can be connections, the EPS control module, or a broken wire. Off to a reputable Suzuki service agent or a diagnostician. Pics below are from the 2009 year, just check the colours and pins, they should be the same.

Feb 27, 2023 · Hi, Suzuki Escudo 2008 just developed codes C1044 and C 1075 permanent codes even after clear. All sensors ok,cleaned all sensors ans sensor seats, swapped sensors, voltage drop when cranking is 10.7v . advise what else could be the issue.Skid light on,ESP,hand brake light and ABS.please advise
Aug 3, 2015 · Assuming Suzuki doesn't have a special definition of this, it means there is an issue with my EGR valve/system. I looked for replacement EGR valves. The only two I could find were each over $400.
Aug 22, 2019 · The Suzuki repair manual says for a code P1033, to replace any bad sensors, then the hubs, and then finally replace the pump/control unit. This code does not say which wheel speed is bad - just that 2 or more do not agree. I may try replacing one front bearing (the knuckle is a pain) and see if the speed agrees with the 2 back wheels.

Most are bolted on, and wheel arch liner has to come out, bumper off, and I think lower under body panel ( depending on which sx4 you have) on drivers door to get to the bolt at that lower corner. Might be easier to wait till the new one shows ...
