But the word "Schedule" is more broad, such as a working schedule telling who works what day, or a program schedule tells what events will take place what days/times.

While we (almost) always use "timetable" instead of "schedule" in BrE, "schedule" is readily understood and I doubt most BrE speakers would even notice anyone using it, even if it was said with the usual AmE "sk" pronunciation (in BrE it is pronounced "shed-yul").

Context already tells us that it's about work, so we don't need to build either of these compound terms. It's sufficient simply to say either schedule or timetable, as one prefers.

They might be somewhat interchangeable, depending on where English is spoken.
