Wolf Pack is a 2023 American drama series based on a book by Edo van Belkom. It follows four teenagers who are bitten by a werewolf and become part of a pack.
- The Alpha Wolf. The alpha position consists of two wolves, an alpha male, and an alpha female, also known as the Luna Wolf. The two work together to lead the pack and maintain order.
- The Alpha Female. Also known as the luna wolf, the alpha female gets her position from her association with the alpha male. So, she might not be the strongest or most dominant female in the group.
- The Beta Wolf. The word “beta” comes from the second letter of the Greek alphabet ( Β, β ), which is translated as B. It’s used to describe someone who comes right after the person at the top or second best.
- Mid-Ranking Wolves. Mid-ranking wolves, also known as subordinates, are the backbone of the pack and often the most active members. This rank consists of elderly and respected wolves, the alpha couple’s aunts and uncles, and younger wolves who want to prove their value to the pack.

Paramount+ Axes Wolf Pack After One Season
After a year of silence regarding the follow-up season, Paramount+ officially canceled Wolf Pack in January 2024. Though the writing was on the wall that the show would be axed after no word came throughout the entire strike-affected 2023, a return was still possible. Now, the streamer has pulled the plug on the project, and it isn't likely to be revived elsewhere. Though nothing was confirmed, it can be assumed that many of the Wolf Pack cast members would have reprised their roles for season 2. Sarah Michelle Gellar would most likely have been back as Kristin Ramsey, and she would probably have been joined by most of the ensemble from season 1. Story Possibilities Of The Canceled Second Season
One thing that can be presumed is that the population of werewolves was bound to increase in Wolf Pack season 2. The season 1 finale ended with a twist regarding Kristin’s werewolf origins and her family history. It turns out she is the biological mother of Harlan, Luna, and Baron. With Harlan and Luna finding out about their real lineage, it would have been interesting to see how season 2 explored their relationship with their foster father, Garrett.
