On August 28, 2022, Stephen Anderson stated on Twitter about working on an eighth Tinker Bell film in late 2014/early 2015. The working title of the film was “Tink Meets Peter”. It was intended to be the final installment in the Tinker Bell film series and a direct prequel to Walt Disney’s 1953 film, Peter Pan.
